About Us

The focus is on fitness and fun.  Each week we will be running a  series training exercises and practice races.  It will be challenging, but we will make sure that everybody gets a good workout.

We are promoting this event under the Just Giver 4 Parkinson's Disease (JG4PD) Cycling Club which is a diverse group of men and women across the province who share a passion for cycling while helping to raise awareness for Parkinson's disease.  However, this a community event and we welcome participants from all clubs throughout the Valley.

We are trying to make the program as inclusive as possible, but we have to have some restrictions in the name of safety.  All riders must have a drop handlebar road bike; we will not allow mountain bikes, hybrids or other flat bar bikes on the track.  We also require all riders to have a current Cycling BC membership as well as a JG4PD club membership; this is a condition of our event insurance (see the insurance and fees section).    Youth riders must be a minimum of 12 years old and have some road riding experience (we can recommend other youth programs for younger riders or those new to the sport).

This is our first season and there will undoubtedly be a bit of learning curve to get things running smoothly, but if you bring your road bike and a smile it shouldn’t be that complicated.

We are here to help, if you have any question feel free to email us!
