We ask that everybody signs on between 5:30PM and 6:00PM. The gate will be shut at 6:00PM.  If you are late wait at the gate for the coach’s permission to enter before crossing the track   Remember that everybody needs a Club Membership and BC Cycling Membership.  We explain this again in our fees and insurance section.  The insurance requirements are a condition of using the track.

Everybody will do the same exercises but events will generally be grouped in one of 4 ways;

  • General: Everybody will be on the track at the same time.  We will use this mainly for warm up and warm down exercises.

  • Seeded Groups/Teams: Groups will be seeded by ability/speed.

  • Serpentine Groups/Teams: Groups will be of mixed ability to allow new riders to work with those who are more experienced.

  • Individual: Individual timed efforts where the track will be clear of other riders.

 

For some exercises the coaches will split the track into upper and lower lanes (generally more experienced riders will ride the outer track which is longer and has more elevation).
